Eker Bikes was founded in 2017. The head office is in Härnösand in Sweden, where we also do the final assembly of bikes before shipping them to riders across the globe. The frames are built in our own workshop in Kampala, Uganda.
Bruce Ahimbisibwe
Bruce is our master bike builder and a passionate bicycle rider. He is responsible to ensure the frames are built according to the Eker standards, and is in charge of the manufacturing.
Stefan Krisch
Stefan is one of the founders of Eker and is in charge of all product development and the European market. He has a background as a mechanical engineer and in his day job works in the medtech industry.
Johan Mast
Johan is one of the founders and is in charge of all marketing and design. He has a background from the humanitarian world and in his day job he works as a consultant in organisational management and crisis preparedness.
Willibrord Okungi Okello
Willibrord is our General manager in Uganda. He is a certified auditor and ensures the manufacturing is up to standard and that the team is well taken care of.
