Purchase, payment and pricing

Some bikes are built on order. The bike will be shipped when full payment from the customer has been received by Eker.

Cancellation

You as a buyer have the right to cancel the deposit and be refunded in the same currency that you paid. Please contact order@ekerbikes.com within 14 days after the date of payment.

Disclaimer

If a specific component is out of stock we reserve the right to replace this with an equivalent or upgraded component.

Images may differ from reality due to the natural aspects of bamboo. Product images may also differ from reality due to changing components. Please see specification list for detailed components.

Contact information

You are responsible to ensure that the contact, shipping and billing information is correct and updated. Eker has no responsibility or liability for inaccurate or outdated information, and has no obligation to make efforts to determine the correct contact or shipping information. You can however update your information at any time prior to your product being shipped, by sending an email to sales@ekerbikes.com..

Limited availability

As our products are built by hand and in limited availability, Eker may decline payment if not able to meet the demand. If your payment is declined, you will be notified and your payment refunded in the same currency as you had paid.

Payment

Accepted payment methods are Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The price shall be paid in EUR, SEK, DKK, GBP or NOK. Eker currently only sells and ships bicycles within the EU.

Shipping

The purchase price includes free shipping within Europe. We will keep you updated on the shipping time and details.

Delivery schedule

We will make all our efforts to begin delivering your Eker bicycle as soon as possible. The Estimated time of delivery is only an estimate, is subject to change and we cannot guarantee that we are able to ship the bicycle by the estimated date. The manufacturing process and logistics involved make it near to impossible to speed things up. Nevertheless, we promise to keep you in the loop and informed about where in the process we are.

Exchange and returns

You may return or exchange your Eker bicycle within 14 days of purchase. The product must be returned to us in perfect condition and in the original packaging together with the original invoice. We cannot accept a return where the bicycle has been used or has any wear or tear or where labels have been removed or tampered with. The original packaging must be fully intact. We will expediate the refund and you shall have the money back within 14 days of our reception of the returned product. Return shipping cost is on the customer, and original shipping cost will not be refunded.

Warranty

Eker assures that our products are of highest quality and designed for their recommended purpose with no problems with manufacturing or craftmanship. In case of any issue with our product, kindly inform us through e-mail before returning, to avoid shipping or other charges. Eker warrants that our products are free of manufacturing defects in material and craftmanship when delivered to the buyer, highlighting that each bicycle frame is made by hand and thereby unique in design and specifications can vary slightly. The warranty on the bicycle frame is extended to 5 years from the date of delivery and is limited to the original buyer. The components are limited to the warranty of each component manufacturer. The warranty does not cover against damages caused by normal wear and tear or in the event of abuse, neglect, carelessness, using the bicycle in other ways than intended or replacing or rebuilding the bicycle with components other than provided by Eker.
